21st century society has been rendered obsolete and London has fallen into the hands of violent gangs.
George had begun to question his membership in a gang of murderers and rapists. Now that blood coats his hands, he can feel his humanity slipping away.

I read this book in one sitting -couldn't put it down. This guy really has a way with words, I will be looking up some more of his writing next! Highly recommend!

This is the second in the series...and a great read! I read all three of this series in one day because the author leaves you wanting more! I wanted to hate some of the characters....but I still couldn't wait to read book three to find out what happened to them. This is a true representation of what I think the world will be like in the event it all goes to hell...I can imagine each and every scenario....and the way the author presents the horror gives me chills...but I love this series and will read them until the very end! Crash II was even better than Crash I. And all you hating on George should cut him some slack. He's hungry and traumatized. This book is riveting, hard to put down and realistic. Only thing I had a problem with was an American thing. I'm 71 and I could have blown Dean away in a heartbeat.
Aptly named this is a well written and intense character study of the collapse of civilization. Very gritty and dark with characters you care about. In your face no holds barred action. Crash 2 is a brilliant apocalyptic story. I can't wait for the next book!
Brutal, maniacal, devastating. The author has created a world so harsh it makes you shudder as you read it. Just when you think you have it figured out you're taken to a whole new level of dimenshia. Trickles of hope shattered by the realities of human nature. You have to read this story to grasp just joe in twisted humanity can truly be.
This book is fantastic. The author really brings forward the darker part of humanity. What would happen if the world collapsed? How would people react. All of those questions are answered when author explores the darker side of people when put in adverse situations. The scary part is this could very easily become reality. Great characters that are well developed make this a must read.
After the depravity of book one I was pretty sure I knew what to expect. I was wrong, I can't even imagine how hard it would be to write this. One would certainly expect more from humanity, unfortunately, these types of events would most likely be accurate for some. With morbid curiosity to see what comes next, I will continue reading this series.
As in the first book, I could not put it down until the end and I was sorry to see it end but will definitely read book 3. Usually, when books are in a series like this I will not read all of them but this series is a game changer for me. If you like apocalyptic stories this is the reads for you.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book.The author is really talented at creating a frightening scenario of life in a collapsed society.The inner conflicts of the characters are realistically portrayed .Michael Robertson doesn't shy away from revealing the darkest parts of humanity and the cruelty that ensues.The narration was well done and pleasant to listen too.I purchased the e-book,but received an audiobook from the author in exchange for an honest review.
